Toyota Unveils Electric Hybrid Luxury Car With Self-charging Attribute
Vellfire with two electric motors and a hybrid battery-price range of INR 79.5 Lac
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) recently launched the latest hybrid self-charging multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) “Vellfire” for the first time in India’s history. With the majestic interior and luxurious exterior, this car is hitting the market ground by leaving a lasting impression on potential customers.
As Toyota unveils electric hybrid luxury car, it offers a great driving experience with less fuel consumption and carbon footprints. Numerous researches have proved that hybrid cars are usually capable of running 60% of the time and 40% of the distance on zero-emission or electric mode while the engine is off.
At the launching ceremony of Toyota Vellfire, Naveen Soni announced that the first three shipments of 180 vehicles are sold out successfully in India. He added that 20% of the sales are only from Hyderabad, and 6-lac cars are sold out globally.

This electric hybrid car is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-Cylinder gasoline hybrid engine, providing 86kw power with maximum torque of 198 Nm @2800 to 4000 rpm.

It offers Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEVs), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs). The technologies employed in Vellfire hybrid vehicles share some core technologies of the latest battery system, controllers, and motors.
Latest Toyota Vellfire has become a hot seller in India with a price range of 79.5 Lac. It has an on-board charging feature, where the electric batteries are self-charged. Its safety features include Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).
