For all pre-existing users of Windows 10, the newly unveiled version of Windows 11 would be made available for them for free, although some of the devices that are currently running on Windows 10 might not be able to upgrade due to variation in the specifications of the device.
To install Windows 11 on any device, it should be equipped with at least 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM.
Features in Windows 11
One of the major cosmetic changes which have been incorporated within Windows 11, which slightly alter the previously running scheme of things for the Microsoft operating system since the start, is the change in location of the Start button, which used to be at the left-hand side, but can now be seen at the bottom-center of the screen.
In addition to that, the Windows 11 would be featuring much tight integration and smooth workings with all communications platforms of Microsoft, including Xbox Games Pass, which is a subscription service that would offer hundreds of games, and the application would be pre-installed, along with Teams.

Microsoft is looking forward to changing their interface slightly towards the likes of ChromeOS and MacOS, and aiming it to make it more user-friendly and easily accessible.
Criticism regarding Windows 11
Microsoft has stated that they are sharing more quantity of profits from their app store with other developers and creators, as currently, its rival firm Apple is struggling to face challenges over its proposed model of business.
In the year 2015, when Microsoft launched its Windows 10 operating system, they were confident enough to have said that it would be their finalized version of the operating system but would continue to make it better with intermittent updates and bug fixes. Since then, recently, Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 is likely to retire by the end of the year 2025.
According to Satya Nadella, the chief executive of Microsoft has described the launch of Windows 11 as a major milestone achieved by Microsoft in the history of its Windows operating system development. Meanwhile, the analyst at CCD Insight has said that he does not consider this step by Microsoft as revolutionizing.
He said that the iterative release of Windows 11 pinpoints where the Windows operating system requires to have greater ambition, rather than just introducing changes that have just been swapped as previously seen in its predecessors.
The Microsoft’s end game would have been to ensure its massive number of users to step up from the existing Windows 10 to the newly launched Windows 11, which would have provided a significant improvement to offset any possible complaints from their clients.
It has been observed that the Windows 11 operating system by Microsoft is based on the code which is based on the previously launched Windows 10, which is due to prevent any possible glitches that had been noted in the past, majorly in Windows Vista.
