It is being suggested that there are 10 times higher than known coronavirus cases in Italy, and the numbers are being suppressed to avoid massive panic in the general population of the country and around the world. As the numbers of infected individuals with COVID 19 are increasing rather fast as 408, 892 people have become sick due to the pandemic since its first case in China in December 2019.

Since the outbreak, 18, 259 people have died out of which 64, 000 used to reside in Italy. The number of deaths in Italy has surpassed the amount in mainland China, which recorded the largest number of people affected by the pandemic.

Even though the quantity of affected patients with COVID 19 is increasing, people are also getting back to optimum health after experiencing the symptoms of the novel coronavirus, and the aggregate of the recovered patients has surpassed 107, 073 worldwide.
